Direct Hit pipped at the post
Direct Hit came runner up to Four Four Two in the Sport Industry Awards Magazine of the Year Award last night. The football consumer magazine was judged by the panel to be the winner of a 'highly commendable and innovative' group of sports titles.
Matt Thacker, editor of Direct Hit was not too disappointed, explaining: 'For a relatively small title, I think it's a fantastic effort that our team has taken Direct Hit to a level where we can compete with national consumer magazines.'
